Our venue

Our venue is located in Lund, an ancient beautiful town founded around year 990. Being rather small, it is easy to get around by foot or by bike. The conference is held in Lunds Stadshall (Lund City Hall), which is right in the center. Around town are many hotels, restaurants and bars and if this isn’t enough, the city of Malmö is only 10 minutes away by train.

The most well-known building in Lund is the impressive Lund Cathedral from 1145. Lund is a university town and is home to the second largest university in Sweden. Around town, many of the buildings you see belong to the university. It was established in 1666 and the one and only Carl von Linnaeus was once a student here! The cozy Botanical Garden in Lund is part of the university, but is open to the public daily.

Lund is situated in the south of Sweden, with close and easy access to both the Danish capital of Copenhagen as well as Sweden’s third biggest city Malmö.

Also, be sure to purchase train tickets from ticket machines, ticket desks or online before boarding any trains as there are no means of purchasing tickets onboard and there is a heavy fine for travelling “ticketless”.
